A California Wal-Mart under fire for a highly publicized racial incident now has to answer to more allegations of racism.
The store recently made headlines for locking up Black hair products and now another Black woman, Shakara Lott, is calling them out for what she experienced.
As she shopped with her mother, Lott stopped by the hair care aisle to grab a product. After she saw it locked behind secured glass, she sought the assistance of a nearby employee. The employee allegedly gave the item to Lott but told her that she had to take it directly to the register or she couldn’t buy it. Rather than comply with her peculiar demand, Lott instead put the item in her cart and continued shopping.
The video begins with Lott confronting the unidentified worker for following her. The seemingly racist employee then walks off and apparently gets a manager who refuses to allow Lott to purchase the item, then kicks her out of the store. They claim she stole the product which was clearly a lie.
